Plume Dispersion Modeling

Plume Dispersion Modeling

Reliable and accurate emissions estimates are crucial to a pollution and nuisance-impact analysis. HSE’s CARMEN RT (Computer Aided Remote Monitor with Event Notification Real Time) is a wireless, completely portable, solar-powered ambient air quality monitoring system that provides remote, real-time data logging. Our technology is accessible via a secure Internet connection 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Using the CARMEN technology, HSE has revolutionized the air dispersion modeling industry with a Windows-based software interface. Our company has established a reputation for providing a robust and reliable product throughout the world, with the majority of its work concentrated in Canada and the United States.

The standard practice in the dispersion modeling industry is to employ weather data from Environment Canada, which utilizes a 40-kilometer grid to predict weather in a given region. Using our own meteorology towers, HSE provides our clients with data on a four-kilometer grid to ensure precision, detail and efficiency.

In Alberta these towers have been used in conjunction with the CARMEN real-time modeling system to dramatically lower our clients’ propane cost while flaring.

HSE provides the latest technology with a proven track record. Mitigate your risk, reduce your costs and manage your project from the comfort of your office or home using real-time technology.
