HSE & Levitt Safety Sign Breathing Air Equipment Servicing Agreement
NEWS RELEASE – August 22, 2006
HSE Integrated Ltd. (“HSE” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that the Company has signed an agreement with Levitt-Safety Limited (“Levitt”) under which HSE will become a subcontractor to Levitt in Alberta for the servicing of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (“SCBA”).
SCBA and other breathing air equipment are used extensively by industry and public safety professionals where personnel may be exposed to toxic materials in the air or in environments where there is insufficient oxygen to operate safely and effectively.
HSE’s Edmonton breathing air service facility will become the central air shop for Levitt and HSE in Alberta. Levitt is an authorized distributor and service agent for most of the leading manufacturers of SCBA. HSE, an extensive user of SCBA in its oilfield and industrial safety services, also uses this Edmonton facility to ensure its substantial SCBA equipment is continuously maintained to manufacturer’s specifications. All SCBA service work performed by HSE will be under Levitt’s supervision and will meet or exceed the comprehensive service requirements required by the various SCBA manufacturers.
The objective is to improve the level of service available to users of SCBA in Alberta, particularly in the oil and gas industry. Air breathing equipment is essential to the safe operation of many oilfield activities, and the petroleum industry is a major user of this equipment for drilling, completion, workover and production operations. It is expected that Levitt’s expertise, combined with HSE’s network of field service locations, will allow Levitt and HSE to provide an improved level to that currently available.
