Reliable breathing air equipment is essential for safe entry into hazardous atmospheres. HSE offers respiratory protection equipment suitable for various toxic environments such as asbestos, benzene, styrene and hydrogen sulphide (H2S), as well as circumstances such as oxygen-deficiency and confined space entry. With the most respected equipment brands in the industry, we can cover all breathing air needs for a range of industrial applications.

Compressed Breathing Air Trailers
Compressed breathing air trailers provide a mobile source of breathing air used in conjunction with Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus (SABA) to protect workers, and Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) for standby and rescue. Our trailers are fitted with high-pressure breathing air cylinder cascade systems filled with compressed breathing air, tested to CSA 180.1-00 standards. Compressed breathing air trailers can be custom loaded to fit industry needs, and may include all equipment required to work safely in any hazardous atmosphere.
Office Trailers
These may be set up as a mobile office on location to allow for completion of the extensive documentation required of site foremen, consultants or administrators. The offices are furnished, and include necessities such as power, workstation, heat/air conditioning and basic kitchen amenities. They are also designed to withstand the punishment of harsh industry environments. Incinerator toilets and satellite television are also available upon request.
Office/Air Trailers
HSE’s air combination trailers do double duty as compressed breathing air trailers and onsite offices. They include the same air and safety equipment as the compressed breathing air trailers, but also provide a furnished, temperature-controlled work space.
Breathing Air Cascades
HSE’s breathing air cascades are transportable to remote or isolated locations via truck where road conditions do not allow for towing an air trailer. These units are ideal for mobile work crews as they can be loaded into truck boxes.
SCBA/SABA Rentals
HSE maintains a rental inventory of SCBA, SABA and auxiliary equipment such as hoses, regulators, manifolds, large-volume breathing air cylinders and hand-portable, two-cylinder air supply carts. HSE supplies equipment for everything from small confined space entry jobs, to large industrial work for: manufacturing; petrochemical; scheduled or emergency shutdown/start-up maintenance and construction.
Services
SCBA/SABA Equipment Servicing
In partnership with Levitt-Safety Limited, HSE offers a breathing air service facility in Edmonton. This shop offers manufacturer-certified, third-party services for Scott Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) and Supplied Air Breathing Apparatus (SABA) for Levitt-Safety and HSE customers. Under the supervision of Levitt-Safety and Scott Health and Safety, HSE’s Edmonton service center has manufacturer-trained technicians, parts and approved test equipment to facilitate timely repairs of Scott apparatus. This service can be initiated at any HSE Integrated or Levitt-Safety Ltd. location.
