Wilderness Safety
This program is designed to promote working safely while in non-urban environments.
The course material covers encounters with wildlife such as bears, as well as other hazards that can be confronted while working outdoors.
The objectives and outcomes for this course are:
- An awareness of the potential hazards in the wilderness
- The necessary safety precautions required for working in natural environments
- Treatment regimens for rendering first aid

Duration: 4 hours
Participation: Maximum dependent upon classroom space
Certification: HSE certificate
